The Please Touch Museum with Austin

Today was dreary and the whine factor was high, so Mommy took Austin and me to the Please Touch Museum. Oliver was invited, but his whine factor was too high to leave his house.

Here Austin is playing in Fairy Tale Land. First he spins straw into gold, then he climbs-up on a bed, steals a berry pie, and helps a cow jump over the moon! All the activity was a little overwhelming, so he decided to chill-out with the Smurfs for a while.

Here I am making sure Mommy gets pictures of me and not just Austin.

Cameron and the Beanstalk!

The reason why Mommy takes more pictures of Austin than me - I charge the camera and try to lick the lens! Mommy also says this is the reason her photos are sometimes subpar, but I know that is user error.

After Fairy Tale Land Austin and I wanted some refreshment, so we went to a tea party! We made some new friends there - the March Hare and the Mad Hatter!

Mommy, are bunnies usually this big?

Austin got a little friendly with the bunny.

After the tea party we took a ride on some horsies! Austin thought riding a horsey was groovy!

I did not think riding the carousel was groovy in February and I still don't like it. Mommy did not jump-on behind me like last time because she was holding both Austin and me. Don't worry, as soon as my feet were back on terra firma I was happy and running around and trying to eat a horse's tail.

Austin, you can't just open the door to someone's house. You need to ring the doorbell first! (You can hear the doorbell if you listen closely).

Austin, it's my turn at the door. And a rake can poke your eye out.
A watering can is a good, safe toy.

Baliyo

For Father's Day I bought Daddy a Baliyo so he could perform fancy pen-flippin' tricks - because isn't that what all daddies do? However, it seems I Baliyo better than he does.

Cozy Coupe

Today Austin and I took my new Cozy Coupe for a spin. It was hot and humid, so we didn't stay outside very long. Mommy was nice though and brought the plastic vehicles inside for us to play with and fight over.

Austin's daddy says the Cozy Coupe is the best-selling car of all time.

Austin with my helmet on and elbow pads on his knees - ready to go!
Austin pushing the scooter on grass so he wouln't have to wear the helmet.
Austin taking a stick break - just like I do!
Austin at the wheel.
I am a big, tan boy!

Poor Austin. The helmet covered his eyes and I stole the scooter when he was down.

Mommy moved Austin and the scooter onto the grass so he didn't need the helmet.

I pushed Austin - Austin pushed me.

Around Here We Take the Bus

Today Oliver and I took the bus to Valley Forge National Park to meet some of our friends and take a walk. Neither of us had ever been on a bus before. It was neat. Mommy found out the the bus route starts at King of Prussia Mall and ends at her favorite outlet mall! I don't think Daddy was happy to hear that...

Noises I Make

Scootering with Hello Kitty

Here I am on my scooter with a Hello Kitty purse. Can you believe that less than 3 months ago I couldn't touch the ground when sitting on the scooter? Now I can scoot everywhere! I am a growin'!

At the Zoo with 23 Skidoo

Today Austin and I went to the Philadelphia Zoo with Mommy and her new friend Blake and her son Colin. Austin and I weren't too impressed with the animals - it was hot, so they didn't move around a lot. We did like the jumping squirrel and the flamingos - and the band Secret Agent 23 Skidoo! We ate lunch while watching the concert.
(Mommy apologizes for the wonkiness of the video. She shot it at an angle and when it is rotated the proportions get funky...whatever all that means).

American Helicopter Museum

Today we went to the American Helicopter Museum - Home of the Nation's Largest Collection of Helicopters. Mommy kept saying she had been waiting to bring Cousin Jackson, but he has not had a chance to visit yet, so we went without him.

Again, Mommy forgot to being her camera, so you have to settle for some blurry photos from Daddy's phone.

Mommy and me.Mommy teaching me how to fly. You know, she did fly a Cessna once - or a plane like that.
Here I am being cheerful in the Cheerful Chopper.

I don't need a helicopter to fly - I will just flap my arms!

Swim Day!

Today was Swim Day for MOMS Club at the YMCA. As you know, I love to swim, so I had a great time. It was a beautiful day. Sunny, but not too hot.

Mommy's friend took this picture. She said she will send the full-size image (she sent a small one). I hope so - this would look great above the fireplace! Check-out those teeth!

Oliver had never been in a pool before, and he can't walk on his own yet, so he wasn't as wild as I was - but he had a lot of fun anyway!
Here I am trying to steal a water bottle. I thought if I was nakie no one would notice.

Daddy's Shoes

Trying-on Daddy's shoes while waiting for my tubby to be ready.

In-line Skating

Mommy, Daddy and I went in-line skating. Ok, I sat in my stroller while Daddy pushed me, but I was on wheels and moving! Daddy quit skating before Mommy did, so he let me play with rocks while we waited for Mommy. Mommy says I am all boy - not an ounce of girl in me. You may notice my legs have grown - I have long legs. I had to have been switched at birth.
