My Birthday Gifts to Grandpa Sunshine

Grandpa Sunshine cannot hide his excitement while looking at my drawings and the Turbo book I made. I also read Grandpa a book called Mac and Cheese. The whole book. All by myself. I can read like a pro.

 

 

My Birthday Gifts from Grandpa Sunshine

Look at those gifts! The big one is a cardboard stand of a Coca-Cola polar bear for my bedroom here, but it was great to see all the superhero wrapping paper and bags!

One thing I received that I wasn't supposed to have until I was 10 - my very own pet! It's a guinea pig I have named Star. Mommy seems to like him more than I do, which is probably good for Star.

A Beautiful Day

It was a beautiful day so Mommy and I went to Schuylkill Canal Park, Great Valley Nature Center, and to our local park to swing!

I always want to bring something from home with me. Today it was a laser pointer/flashlight combo. Mom only threatened to take it away twice.

Today was our Spring Play and Songfest. We performed the Three Piggy Opera. I was the third pig, the smart one.

Mommy made the wolf and piggy costumes. She enjoyed that immensely.

And the race is on...

This Lego Dragster race occurs 3 times a year, and I always win the prize for coolest design.

Talk-To-Me

I like my Talk-To-Me books. There is a record on the page and I use a small record player to listen to the words. These books and the record player were Mommy's when she was little. She saved them just for ME!

I got the boot!

The stabilizing boot, that is. Bad foot sprains are what you get when trying to impress a girl at Monkey Joe's! At least it was the Birthday Girl.

Foot Injury!

I injured my foot at Monkey Joe's, a bounce-house place. When Mommy told me I was going to have an x-ray I panicked, so she took some "test x-rays" so I would know how they feel. Guess what? I didn't feel anything!

Cameron making spaghetti!

Tonight Cameron made spaghetti! He also helped with the sauce and opened the cans with a manual can opener! What a big boy. - Mommy

Numchucks or nunchucks or some such.

Daddy made these for me because his daddy wouldn't let him have them. Maybe if Daddy would have asked for duct tape covered foam ones...
