Please Touch Museum with My Crew
It was a beautiful day so Mommy and Maria (Oliver's Mommy) loaded Austin, Oliver and me into the car to go to Smith Memorial Playground. Unbeknownst to us, the playground is closed Mondays. So, off to the Please Touch museum we went!

Historic Yellow Springs in Chester Springs
Today Mommy, Daddy and I spent A Day with George (Washington, that is) at Historic Yellow Springs at Chester Springs. Having been at Hopewell Furnace yesterday I wasn't much in the mood for more historical hoo-ha, but I really liked this water pump. The water pump reminded Mommy of the one she used to play with at the park in Chester, Iowa. She got a little teary-eyed.

Hopewell Furnace
Today Mommy, Daddy and I toured Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site. We saw how apple butter was made, square dancing, wool spinning and a loom, sheep, a large draft horse, how charcoal was made, a water wheel, old toys and games, a cannon, and a blacksmith's shop. The bellows were broken at the blacksmith's, so no blacksmithing was being done much to Daddy's chagrin.

Reoboth Beach
Today Mommy, Daddy and I spent our Annual Beach Day at Rehoboth Beach. The water was cold, but no one could stop me from riding the waves!
Playing in the sand. I couldn't find the orange shovel, so I used a garden trowel to dig.
Splashy splashy!
My happy family.
Mommy and me.
I love to push crosswalk buttons. I get a lot of practice on my walks with Mommy.
Nice nose Mommy, it looks a lot like mine!

A Stick, a Ball, a Car and Some Dirt
Today I taught Austin how to play in the dirt. He seemed a little distressed about it, though. He wanted to put the dirt into the pot, but I only take it out.
I don't think Austin's parents usually let him chew on sticks, but Mommy didn't know that at the time. At least it is organic and a good source of fiber.

Labor Day Sunday
For Labor Day Sunday Oliver and his Mommy and Daddy came over and cooked for us! It was fun having Oliver over for a picnic. We even had our own table that Daddy had found in someone's garbage earlier in the year. At first Oliver and I were sitting across from each other, but my back was to the grown-ups and I didn't like that, so Mommy had me sit next to Oliver. I liked that. I hope Oliver didn't think I was getting fresh.
Before dinner I ate a lot of Munchos. I had never had them before. They were delicious.

French Creek State Park
For a change of pace Mommy and I spent the day at Austin's house instead of Austin visiting us. We went to French Creek State Park and played at a playground. It was a beautiful park. It was a hard day for Mommy, though. There were many rocks in the mouths and Austin's house was not me proof. But, a change of scene is always good.

My Crew at Smith Memorial Playground
Today Austin, Oliver and I went to the new Tot Lot at Smith Memorial Playground. It totally rocked. Austin has on the brown shirt and Oliver has on the blue shirt. We had a great time!
Click the pic for great photos - and a video of me chasing a squirrel!

Valley Forge National Park with Austin
Today Mommy took Austin and me to Valley Forge National Park. We were supposed to walk with some of our MOMS® Club friends, but we missed each other. That was fine with us, we had more fun playing in the grass than being strapped in a stroller. Plus, we found our friends on the way home and went to lunch, so everything worked-out splendidly. Mommy did a deer tick check when we got home. There are a lot of deer at the park.
We found a cool caterpillar on the trail. I liked it, Austin did not.

Here are some cute pictures of me eating a nutrition bar and walking around. The bar was really for Mommy to eat, but for some reason she gave it to me. Do you want to guess why? (answer: I had a little fit.)

I see you with the camera Mommy. Here I come.

Being silly on the trail.

Austin had a lot of fun crawling around. He crab-crawls when he is outside. He must not like the feeling of grass or concrete on his knees.

A video of Austin crawling. Mommy cut my cameo short. You can hear I am not too happy about it.
