Park Date

Today my friend Noah (MOMS Club) and Grace (school) played in the driveway then walked/biked to the park! What fun! Grace and Noah both have baby brothers about 1 year old.

Oatmeal cookies and a motorcycle helmet. What else does a fella need to go to the park?

Come on Noah, let's go!

Maybe this would work better if we take turns?

One two three four

Feist... A la Sesame Street... As sung by me... Baby D

I like to eat with socks on my hands.

I am eating one of Grandma Dene's favorite things - pancakes with peanut butter and syrup! (With dirty socks on my hands...)

Makin' cookies!

Mommy and I are making cookies for the mail carrier because he brought back the wallet Mommy lost.

Target balls

Daddy finally let me sit on the giant red ball outside the Target store! He always used the lame "It's raining" excuse in the past.

I have a fishing pole and a pumpkin.

And really, what else does a guy need?

Incredibles

Last week we watched The Incredibles... I am the giant robot spider and Daddy is Dash running away!

Doe, a Deer - reprise

Before school today I stood on Mommy and Daddy's bed, looked at myself in the mirror, and sang "Doe, a Deer" with my tape measure.

Mommy and Daddy have since provided me with a more appropriate, child's tape measure. Mommy was afraid I would slice my finger with a metal one.

Pink canoe

Tonight at swim class my instructor asked if I could go in the canoe with the older kids - and the answer was yes! I like the "pink canoe." My instructor says I am ready for the next class, but the YMCA doesn't think so - I have to be 3! Mommy and Daddy think repeating pre-Pike is just fine, and so do I. I don't want to be in the water without Mommy or Daddy yet.

Taunting Mommy

While Mommy was at work Daddy and I went to Costco. Daddy took pictures of me eating an ice cream bar and emailed them to Mommy. Ha ha Mommy. You are working, I am eating ice cream.

Hands On House

Today we drove to Lancaster to go to the Hands On House with our MOMS Club friends Gina, Olivia and Cooper.

I really enjoyed being a cashier. Some things cost $2.77, other things cost a penny.
Of all the hat and mittens they had to dress the plywood snow people, I liked the ones with pink flowers. At least I can coordinate outerwear.
Mommy painted my nose red like Rudolph. I tried to look at the camera, but I couldn't take my eyes off my reflection in the mirror. Like Daddy says, the apple doesn't fall far...
I like drivin' tractor. Who knows, with my Iowa roots I might be a farmer!

Baby it's cold outside

Though the pictures may be blurry, you can see my cheeks are rosy! It is cold outside, but that doesn't stop me from playing in the snow. No no no.

Playdate with Noah

Today I went with Mommy to visit my friend Noah at his house. He had a computer like mine! You can see we were very interested in programming. Noah also likes fishing, just like me! Mommy says we will play with him more often. Mommy met Noah's mommy in MOMS Club.
The little guy at the edge of the couch is Noah's brother Liam. He can't fish or program yet, but he's ok anyway.

Doe a deer

Doe a deer, a female deer
Ray, a drop of golden sun
Me, a name, I call myself
Fa, a long long way to run
So, a needle pulling thread
Lah, a note to follow so
Tea, a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to...
Doe doe Doe doe ....

Snow Man Quick!

Today daddy and I had to run out and build a snow man quickly because it was a balmy 51˚ outside!
