Happy Hour

After a hard day of playing at the Please Touch Museum, Mommy and Daddy thought I could use a beer at Iron Hill. I am so big I now can have my own chair!

Hey ladies.
Where's my beer, serving wench?

Who needs fancy toys when you have a spoon?

Swinging

I like to swing.

Weeeeeeeee.........

I can pump, but it makes me tired.

Scooting Outside

Sunday was a beautiful day, so I took my scooter outside. I am glad I took such good care of it over the winter. I am going to buy a helmet this week with my Valentine's Day treat money. The gift of safety is a wonderful gift.

On the move.

Sitting is for losers.

Valentine's Day Party

On Valentine's Day night I had a party! Oliver and his parents came, so did Baby Luke.

This is a picture of Baby Luke smiling. He did not smile a lot. He missed his Mommy.

Luke and me playing.

Luke knows how to rattle the gate, too!

The three of us sitting next to each but not playing together.

I Am 10 Months Old

I am 10 months old and...
I have been "out" as long as I was "in".
I still have grey eyes.
Mommy doesn't let me play with her glasses or bite her or pull her hair as much as she used to. (This is mostly Daddy's doing).
I occasionally wave "hello" and "goodbye".
I like to be carried around and see the world.

I like to feed myself.

I like kale.

Toddler 'Tude

I might not be walking yet, but I have a toddler attitude.

Poor Oliver

I don't know why Oliver plays with me. I like to take his hat and pull his hair. His mommy tries to protect him, but it is no use. I am a big meanie.

Cheesy Poofs

Cheesy poofs are where it's at. I can't believe I used to eat Cheerios. How boring! See the red rubber band on my bottle? Daddy was trying to attach my bottle to the toy on my highchair so he wouldn't have to hold the bottle for me or pick it up when I drop it. My parents are so half-ass.

Stats

As you can see by my stats, I haven't been doing a lot of growing the past 3 months because I have been busy crawling and cruising! Fortunately my head is still big, so the brains have been growing even if the body growth has tapered off. My weight may also be down a little because I have been sick, but probably just by a few ounces. The doctor said I am well hydrated.

About the picture...I had to have blood drawn like a big person! WAH! The doctor wanted to check my hemoglobin and lead levels - whatever those things are. The phlebotomists were very nice and did a wonderful job. In fact, I was so handsome two of them worked on me at the same time! I have a way with the ladies.

Where's Mommy?

This morning I was reading my books in my playroom, fka the livingroom, and I noticed Mommy was missing. Instead of crying or whining, I went looking for her. Mommy thought that was really cool. I am glad she came to find me though; I was crawling toward my bedroom and she was in the kitchen. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found her.

4:22:93

Almost 4 minutes and 23 seconds of my life on my 9-month birthday.

I Am 9 Months Old

Can you believe I am 9 months old?

I am 9 months old and I still like to hang onto the baby gate, but I can now stand up and down as I please. Before I needed Mommy's help to let go.
I am 9 months old - and I am sick. You know things aren't good when I give my Goldfish® Baked Snack Crackers to the dog and I can barely smile.

I am 9 months old - and I have 3 upper teeth. See? (I have 2 bottom teeth too, but who doesn't?)

My Very Own Computer

Mommy and Daddy finally gave me my own computer, but then they took it away. How I was I supposed to know the Shift key didn't belong in my mouth?

Storytime with Daddy

After our New York company left, Daddy and I spent some quality time together reading a story.

Happy New Year!

Over the New Year holiday Aunt Karen, Uncle David and Cousin Genna came to visit. As if that were not exciting enough, we took an impromptu trip to Washington DC for New Year's Eve! We stayed at the Embassy Suites which was perfect, each family had its own room. The free evening snacks must have been really good because we had them for supper two nights in a row - and the second night we had already checked-out!

These are my cousins Brandon and Connor, Genna's brothers. They didn't get to come visit because Connor is five and Brandon is a teenage boy - they would have been bored.
A very nice family photo - and it was only 10:30 in the morning!

Get two kids under 16 together and out come the cameras.
A good picture of me.

A good picture of Genna.
Genna at the White House. Notice the piece of plywood to her left and the delivery truck to her upper right. The White House grounds and surrounding areas were bustling with activity to prepare for Obama's inauguration. The plywood was being used to make the inauguration podium. You should have seen the glass that was being installed around the podium - it was super duper thick!
Uncle David looking very touristy.

Aunt Karen looking very cold.
At the Smithsonian American History Museum I saw Oscar the Grouch. I am a fan of his song "I Love Trash". I saw Kermit the Frog too, but I know Oscar better.

Me and my two favorite people at the Reflecting Pool. You can also see the Washington Monument and the Capitol. Right after this photo was taken I took a nap. I was exhausted.Genna at the Viet Nam memorial.
I don't know why Mommy was so excited about this sign. She said something about a hill called Aree?

On the way back to the hotel for free snacks and the drive home.
